Photography is Poetry

Not the kind written in ink, but the kind written in light — in the way a mother's hand rests on her child's shoulder, in laughter that can't be posed, in the quiet seconds between moments that most people miss. A poem doesn't explain itself; it just makes you feel something. That's what I want my photographs to do. To hold a feeling still long enough that, years from now, you can step back inside it.

In the beginning, I didn't set out to specialize —

I just loved capturing people.

What I love most is how every family is different. I get to work with so many wonderful people, kids, couples, and fur babies, and every session teaches me something new.

I am a wife, a mother, a dog mom, and a business owner. I work hard to provide for my family and put smiles on faces. I serve the Oklahoma City metro area — including Edmond, Yukon, Norman, Moore, Bethany, and surrounding areas — and I do travel upon request.

I don't do stiff poses and forced smiles. My sessions are relaxed, natural, and a little bit playful — the kids can be kids, the dogs can be dogs, and you can just be yourselves. I'll guide you when you need it and disappear into the background when you don't. What you get are photographs that feel like your family, not a photoshoot.
